Anna University Coimbatore Admission Form 2014-15
Anna University Coimbatore welcomes Tamil students for admittance into different B.E and B.Tech. Degree programmes for its new academic batch 2014-15. The official admission advertisement has already been issued on its authorized web portal- online.annauniv.edu . Thus, all interested students are advised to go through the details given below and send their applications within the last date of submission, that is 20th May, 2014.
Academic Pre-requisites:
All aspirants need to be a pass in Higher Secondary examinations under 10+2 pattern or its equivalent with not less than average percentage of 50% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in aggregate. However, applicants belonging to reserved groups will be granted with applicable relaxation of 5 to 10 percent in this aggregate percentage.

How to Apply:
Interested candidates who accomplish the above mentioned pre-requisites may apply by any of the following 3 ways:-
a.) In Person: Students may obtain the prescribed application form any of the 59 centres of TNEA on cash payment of INR.500/- (INR.250 for reserved candidates) or through a Demand Draft.
b.) Online Application: Applicants may log on to the University’s official web site- online.annauniv.edu and fill the online application form after carefully reading the instructions available on the portal.
c.) By Post: Students may also send a requisition letter for the application form through post along with a Demand Draft worth INR.700/- (INR.450 for reserved candidates) in the name of “The Secretary (TNEA), Anna University” payable at Chennai.
It is a must for all applicants to submit the filled-in application either in person or by post along with photocopies of Mark Sheet(s), Proof of Age and copies of all other relevant certificates to the below mentioned address, on or before 20th May, 2014.

The selection of candidates will be based on the marks obtained in the prescribed subjects reduced to 200 (Mathematics – 100, Physics + Chemistry – 100) in the qualifying examination. The marks attained by the candidates in the relevant subjects in the qualifying examination conducted by various Boards or Authority shall be compared with the marks obtained by the candidates in the same subjects in the qualifying examination conducted by the State Board of Tamil Nadu. A merit list will be prepared based on the total mark of 200. In cases where more than one candidate have got the same marks in the common merit list, the inter-se-merit among such candidates shall be determined in the order of priority as specified in the information brochure.
